惠比寿,日本七福神之一.他的经典形象是一位头戴黑漆帽,一手持钓竿,另一手抱着鲷鱼的老者,面带笑容,给人以亲切、和顺之感。作为一位对应“正直”属性的福神。他保佑着人们的居家安全、交通安全与海上安全,同时也作为商业之神被商家供奉,祈求生意兴隆、昌盛。惠比寿屋是江户时期的地本问屋,指专门出版通俗小说的批发商,也算书店的一种。画中是在惠比寿屋前逛街的花魁及随同的侍女。
Ebisu, is the Japanese god of fishermen and luck. He is one of the Seven Gods of Fortune. He is often depicted wearing a tall hat—the Kazaori Eboshi—holding a rod and a large red sea bream or sea bass. For some communities, in addition for being a deity of fishing, wealth, and fortune. Ebisu house refers to a publisher(hanmoto), also a ty
